Here at White Buffalo Tax, we take our work seriously. We understand that taxes can have very serious consequences if not done right. That is why, we are passionate about researching and understanding the tax laws to better provide our clients the most accurate and best tax preparation experience. But we understand that sometimes, it’s not enough to be dedicated that’s why we have a refund policy in place.
This condition must be met in order to qualify for a refund:
- After careful examinations, we found that the mistake/error is made on our part.
- After attempts to fix rejections, we decided not to e-file because it’s beyond our expertise
It is not enough to just point the finger at us and say we made mistakes. It needs to have a thorough investigation and client must be able to tell exactly where the mistake/error is and why that is a mistake/error on our part.
We do not provide refund in any of the instances below:
- Had prior unpaid back taxes resulting in reduced refund or owing more taxes
- Forgot to include forms that resulted in reduced refund or owing more taxes
- Did not get refund due to untold reason
- Had discrepancy with the IRS and did not tell us
- Provided wrong documents resulting in wrong tax preparations
- Did not tell the whole truth during the tax preparation process
- Had lower refund due to unknown reasons
- Had lower refund because IRS found discrepancy after e-filing
- Omitted information necessary to prepare accurate tax return
- Ended up with lower refund, no refund or owing more due to client’s negligence/ not keeping records
If in any case, after filing with us, you received a notice from the IRS, we will be delighted to work with you on fixing that instead. We have a resolutions team to handle tax issues.
